Role

The Marketing Sales Representative is responsible for presenting the company’s business model and communicating the benefits of its products and services to outside organizations and businesses throughout Saskatchewan. The incumbent will play an integral role as an ambassador to the company’s culture by representing a professional image at all times to potential clients. This role serves as the main point of contact and reaches out to potential, new, and existing clients who have questions about the business model, services, or would like to discuss pricing.

Qualifications

  • Degree, Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational Training in Marketing or related fields is preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of work experience selling products and services to customers
  • Experience with creating and delivering presentations tailored to client’s needs and requirements
  • Highly motivated and proven track record in sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Champions building and maintaining productive business professional relationships
  • Ability to be comfortable in new settings and have a willingness to learn and grow with the team
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks in a dynamic workplace

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains a positive business and customer relationship
  • Reaches out to potential customers through cold calling
  • Promotes and sells the company’s products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Travels to existing/potential customers to present the company’s business model, communicating the benefits of its products and services
  • Develops and delivers presentations tailoring to the client’s needs and requirements
  • Provides customized and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability
  • Conducts a cost-benefit analysis for existing and prospective customers to meet their needs
  • Expedites any customer problems and complaints towards resolution to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieves agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinates sales effort with internal stakeholders, working towards achieving the desired results
  • Conducts an analysis on provincial market potentials, including tracking sales and status reports
  • Keeps abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Working Conditions

  • This position is based in an office environment located in Saskatoon, SK
  • Regular business travel to meet with customer throughout Saskatchewan may be required
  • This position work schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm; weekend work may be required
