Performing Post-Hire Interviews is a leading practice that touches base with new hires 90 days after their start date with the company. The purpose of a post-hire interview is to check in with new employees and obtain information to address any concerns or questions they may have, including any training to be completed for them to be successful in their new role.
The post-hire interview has two sections:
- Questionnaire: HR will ask the new hire questions regarding how their first 90 days of work is going.
- Company Rating: the new employee will be asked to rate their impression of the company’s programs and work environment on a scale of 4-1.
In addition to the questionnaire included is a Post-Hire Interview Results Workbook. This workbook records all new employees’ company ratings in a centralized location throughout the year. At the end of the year the company will have an understanding of the areas they are excelling in and the areas where they may need improvement on.
